Position Summary

Huron’s Corporate Workday team is comprised of business-minded technology professionals responsible for the ongoing optimizing of our portfolio through product strategy, solution delivery, and support. Our team partners closely with our business stakeholders to identify challenges and opportunities to drive efficiencies and create real outcomes for our business. The Product portfolios focus primarily on Workday but also contain integrations, bots, and other complementary solutions. We partner closely with our client-facing counterparts to share best practices and ensure Huron is at the cutting edge of Workday capabilities.

The Enterprise Workday Financials Manager will be responsible for the oversight of configuration across multiple modules within the Workday platform including Procurement, Accounts Payable, Expenses, General Ledger, FDM, and more.

Qualifications

Responsibilities :

  • Analyze and optimizeWorkday Financials module by collaborating with stakeholders in the US and globally to recommend and implement system enhancements, and to ensure an efficient and engaging user experience.

  • Partner with Global Finance and Accounting teams for day-to-day support.

  • Work alongside Procure-to-Pay and General FinancialsProduct Owners toreview and configureworkflows, condition rules, notifications, validations, and other module-specific updates.

  • Troubleshoot unexpected results or process flaws and recommend solutions.

  • Assist in review of bi-annual release items for Workday Financials areas, work with team to complete needed regression testing, and review enhancements with stakeholders.

  • Partner and collaborate with otherProduct Managers and Product Ownerson the Workday Enterprise team (HCM, Integrations, and Security) as well as with our Enterprise Reporting & Analytics and Change Management teams.

  • Work with team to actively participate in Workday Community to find solutions, best practices, and to recommend enhancements.

  • Lead monthly calls with India Workday Financials Product team members and India Finance stakeholders to support continuous process improvements and ongoing requestsand document new optimization opportunities within Azure DevOps (ADO).

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years’ Workday Financialsexperience required.

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a manager/supervisor.

  • Experience working in Finance and/or Accounting roles preferred.

  • Huron requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.

  • Basic knowledge of Workday security.

  • Basic knowledge of Workday reporting and the overlaps with Workday Financials.

  • Ability to communicate professionally, both written and verbally.

  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with stakeholders and internal teams.

  • Outstanding follow through and attention-to-detail.

  • Adopt Agile Principles & Methodology – be knowledgeable and follow Agile development processes and documentation standards.

  • PI Planning & Sprint Reviews – regularly meetings with core team to understand capacity, plan work, and review Sprint results, contributing to positive velocity and burndown.
