Qualifications

The job responsibilities include:

  1. Technical Issue Resolution: Investigating and resolving technical issues reported by end-users, including system errors, configuration problems, application bugs, and data integration issues. They utilize technical knowledge of the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions application and underlying technologies to diagnose problems and provide effective solutions.

  2. End-User Support: Assisting end-users with their questions, concerns, and requests related to PeopleSoft Campus Solutions. They provide guidance on system usage, workflows, and best practices, ensuring end-users have a positive experience and can efficiently navigate the application.

3.Incident and Problem Management: Managing technical incidents and problems according to established frameworks and service level agreements. They prioritize and escalate incidents appropriately, coordinate with technical teams, and track the progress of issue resolution to ensure timely and satisfactory outcomes.

4.Application Configuration and Customization: Assisting with the configuration and customization of the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions application to meet institutional requirements. They work with functional users, system administrators, and developers to identify and implement system configurations, enhancements, and integrations.

5.Application Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitoring the performance and reliability of the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions application. They use monitoring tools and techniques to identify potential issues, proactively address system health, and recommend optimizations to improve system performance and stability.

  1. Documentation and Training: Creating and maintaining technical documentation, instructional materials, and knowledge base articles related to PeopleSoft Campus Solutions. They contribute to the development of user guides, troubleshooting guides, and training materials, providing end-users with self-help resources and assisting in training sessions as needed.

7.Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including functional users, system administrators, database administrators, developers, and external vendors, to resolve complex technical issues and enhance system functionality. They effectively communicate technical information and coordinate efforts to ensure seamless integration and troubleshooting processes.

  1. Continuous Improvement: Staying abreast of emerging trends, updates, and new features within PeopleSoft Campus Solutions. They actively seek opportunities for process improvements, propose system enhancements, and contribute to the overall optimization of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions operations.

To excel in this role, a PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Student Financials Technical Support professional should have a strong technical knowledge of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, including its modules, database structure, application server administration, and integration methodologies. They should be skilled in troubleshooting techniques, possess excellent problem-solving abilities, and have strong customer service and communication skills. Attention to detail, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, and a commitment to continuous learning are also essential. Obtaining relevant certifications like the Oracle PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Technical Consultant certification can be advantageous.
